Hashivenu (U.S.) is a forum meeting annually in Pasadena, California. This thriving conference brings together some of the best leaders and thinker in Messianic Judaism. Since 2001, the Hashivenu forum has produced a series of invaluable essays and articles which are now available by subscription on the MJTI Network. Subscribers will read the best ideas and expositions of topics such as the boundary between faith and apostasy in Messianic Jewish life, Messianic Judaism as a community on the boundaries of both Judaism and Christianity, Post-Missionary Messianic Judaism and a vision for Jewish renewal in Yeshua, and more.
Hashivenu (Israel) is a forum meeting annually in Jerusalem. Younger than the U.S. forum, the Israel forum nonetheless has begun with enthusiasm and great success. The needs and issues in the Israeli Messianic Jewish community are considerably different from those in the U.S., which makes the emergence of this new forum so important to the mission of MJTI. The invaluable interchange of ideas and vision that has occurred in the U.S. forum will as certainly promote mutual growth, understanding, and vision for Israel's Messianic Jewish community.
Shabbatons are annual gatherings sponsored by the Stern Center in Los Angeles providing experiential and synergistic worship and learning. These Shabbatons can serve as an introduction to Jewish life for new learners and as deepening experiences for those seeking renewal in Jewish life.
